Im so so gutted to be writing this. 😫 But while training on Wednesday I had a freak issue on the take off of a triple jump and I had to jump off of the bike mid air after losing drive on the ramp. I landed on my feet but unfortunately the force of the landing broke my femur. I’m so glad I had my @officialleatt knee braces on to save me from totally blowing out my knees. The last couple of days have been pretty rough and the operation didn’t go to plan yesterday so I was in theatre for 7 hours and lost a lot of blood😬 but thankfully the surgeons made a successful job in the end and I’ve managed to sit up into a chair this afternoon. Unfortunately they’ve accidentally damaged a nerve in my good leg while strapping it out of the way during the surgery so I currently have no feeling in my lower leg and foot which is making rehab difficult because I can’t weight bare on either foot properly, but this should pass soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼I can’t thank the Doctors/nurses, the road ambulance and the air ambulance crew enough and a huge thank you to my friends who did an awesome job looking after me until the ambulances arrived ❤️❤️ @kyrapick860_ @alex_snow31 @steve_holcombe @jackfleming_27 @fastjeff69 #legends Thanks to Gianni & my team for all of the support and to my girlfriend, parents and close friends/family who’ve all been in contact since I have been in hospital. I don’t know what sort of time scale I’m looking at yet but hopefully I’ll be back on my feet, out of hospital and heading back to full fitness ASAP 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’m so disappointed and really frustrated but these things can happen sometimes and it could of been much worse. Thanks again for the support and sorry to those who support me. I’ll be back soon ❤️ | 📸 @_vision_media_ even in tough times 🤙🏼🙈😂
